The Yang Wood Horse month started on the 5th of June and will end on the 6th of July 2016 (included). I am sharing first the dates and hours for the Feng Shui activation so you can find the info easily: then you can keep reading for the explanation of the method. IMPORTANT: there is a debate in Qi Men Dun Jia about always taking local time, including DST, or correcting with the exact solar time. As DST did not exist when QMDJ was invented, I am now keen on correcting the hour. If you live in area using the summer DST, correct for the SOLAR TIME to use those timeframe (so minus one hour if your area is under DST).
Friday the 10th of June 2016
Northwest sector, 17h to 19h (5pm to 7pm).
If you have DST, use 18h to 20h instead of your local time (=17h to 19h accurate solar time).
Put your fan or water feature in the Northwest sector of your home or business. The activation is from 17h to 19h local time on that day. Stop the fan or water feature after 19h (20h if under DST).
As I post this article late, as a bonus here is a second activation that you can do on the weekend to boost your career luck.
Sunday the 12th of June 2016
Southeast sector, 17h to 19h (5pm to 7pm).
If you have DST, use 18h to 20h instead of your local time (=17h to 19h accurate solar time).
Put your fan or water feature in the Southeast sector of your home or business. The activation is from 17h to 19h local time on that day. Stop the fan or water feature after 19h (20h if under DST)
As a reminder for some important rules:
- Always take your local time, UNLESS you have Daylight saving time. During the DST, correct to solar time for the right hour.
- The activations are done with a small fan in movement or a small indoor water fountain.
- Either shall be fairly active in the movement but not too noisy.
- Do not activate another way like knocking on your wall
- Finally we are not talking about FACING the direction with the feature but rather having the feature inside the room that located in this sector.

Here is for the complete guide if you feel unsure to find those sector and directions in your home, flat or business. For this whole month, the 8 Flying star related to money is in the Northwest sector, and the negative 5 yellow is in the East sector. If your bedroom is in the East sector, avoid putting loud music or a fan in this sector for now.
Find the center of your house, apartment or business. Go there with a compass. Let’s say we do this in a flat located in Hackney, London and you want to start experiencing Feng Shui with this method before you hire me for your consultation (I have put some light subliminal messages on this article). Look at the layout on the floor plan: find the centre of the flat. Go there with your compass. The compass indicates that the Northwest direction and sector is in the living room. So we’ll use a fan or water feature in this bedroom on Friday the 10th of June between 17h and 19h (if under DST: 18h t0 20h). The Southeast sector is occupied by the master bedroom: this is where you will have the Feng Shui activation of Sunday between 17h and 19h as well (solar time: 18h to 20h). Of course this is an example and your flat layout might differ in term of rooms placement and directions.
