Chinese horoscope 2016: the Monkey year’s forecast for the Rooster. 2

The Yang Fire Monkey year started on the 4th of February for the solar calendar: the 8th of February is for the lunar start. It is therefore the right time to see what the year has in store for your sign of birth, based on the Chinese Zodiac. In this series of 12 articles I will explore with you the forecast and predictions that are based on your birth sign for your 2016 horoscope. This is different from analyzing your complete Bazi.

For the 12 Signs of Chinese astrology, it is a very different year from 2015 that was the Yin Wood Goat year. While 2015 was all about Earth and Wood Elements, 2016 is a clash between Fire, Metal and Water. These energies represent money opportunities for some and good prospect for single people of some signs. For others, it is all about professional changes and duties and not a very fun year. Let’s see what the situation is sign by sign.

Before reading your predictions, keep in mind that the animal of your year is not the whole picture. Your full chart can balance those influences and in some case reverse them or make them worse. For a start, all of us have 4 animals rather than one: year, month, day and time of birth…and after our 40ies the year is of milder influence. In this article, the years refer to the Chinese ones. So 2016 = 4^th of February 2016 to the 3^rd of February 2017.

The Rooster

For the Roosters, this year can go in two different direction and all depend what you really want to focus on. It is a year that brings some competition and see you motivated. It also brings new friends and interesting meeting. It is actually a good year for networking and to develop your friendship circle, and it can be good for love life too. Psychologically however you’ll need to be cautious and not too adventurous as you might feel like a fish out of the water due to the Fire of the year. It can be very spiritual – if you travel especially – but be cautious for al the experiences that are a bit too borderline. Out of body experience or other trips helped by substances could shake you up a bit too much this year. It is a good vibe still for artists that should not lack inspiration at all with the Monkey year.

Love

Clearly, Roosters of both genders are not equal this year. Women have high chance to meet someone interesting especially in the first half of the year. However you could be quite taken with the person you’ll meet and shall remember to not forget about the other domains of your life. For men, it is actually much quieter. The tendency is more for friendship than love, and for love you could face some unpleasant competition for you who are rather proud. For couples, it is a year during which you’ll have to compromise to support your partner: you could need to adapt to those new circumstances. This year efforts shall not be in vain however.

Work

It is an area of your life in which you could have a bit of stress. Inventivity and creativity will be rewarded, but not unfair commercial methods or moral compromises. Be flawless and inventive in your marketing…You could be very productive this year and feel really inspired. It can be a great year for artists. IF you are looking for work, you’ll need to show some humility whole still stand out of the crowd to get some. Just don’t be cocky…For finances, the tendency is more about investments and expenses rather than major gains, and so plan ahead.

Wellbeing

It is an area for which you shall be cautious. You shall as Rooster avoid this year to party too hard and rather be moderate. The risk of a bad trip is higher for you in 2016. If you are depressed or sensitive to mood swings, try to go for a break and don’t abuse stimulants. The year is however very auspicious for a spiritual search, for alternative therapies and generally to take care of yourself. Softness and being surrounded by kind people will help you greatly. You can experience great discoveries for your wellbeing and find therapies that work for you. For women, be careful, as it is easier for you to become pregnant this year. There will be more stress to handle as you’ll be in demand with work and you should aim at resting on weekends. Travelling and being in touch with nature will help you a lot during the Monkey year.
