For the 12 Signs of Chinese astrology, it is a very different year from 2015 that was the Yin Wood Goat year. While 2015 was all about Earth and Wood Elements, 2016 is a clash between Fire, Metal and Water. These energies represent money opportunities for some and good prospect for single people of some signs. For others, it is all about professional changes and duties and not a very fun year. Let’s see what the situation is sign by sign.
Before reading your predictions, keep in mind that the animal of your year is not the whole picture. Your full chart can balance those influences and in some case reverse them or make them worse. The Tiger
Dear Tiger friends, I’ve got to let the cat, or tiger, out of the bag. You are not having the time of your life during a Monkey year…You are the sign in direct opposition with the Monkey, which puts you in a tricky situation. It is a challenging year and things might not always go according to your plan. What you can expect is for your ideas to be challenged, your opinions to be questioned and generally to have fight a bit to get what you are entitled to. Two areas in particular are more risky: your reputation at work and your finances. Try to be flawless and act with strong morals principles at work, and above all avoid risky placements. Let’s see how the year will unfold for you.
Love
In relationships, it is a bit tense for the Tigers. If you are in one, be mindful of misunderstanding and miscommunication. It is a year during which you are unlikely to have the upper hand: arguments are to be avoided at all costs. Diplomacy will go a long way…If you usually love to debate, best is to refrain this desire during the Monkey year. Rather focus on supporting your partner…The right communication is the key: don’t let your emotions get the best of you. For single people, it is all or nothing. Women have higher chances to meet someone this year, but take your time. You could become inflated with a new person and it might not be worth it. You indeed have a tendency to attract bad boys, or girls, this year, females Tiger. Best is to observe who they are first…For males Tiger, it is less auspicious and I’d advise you to focus on your career evolutions. 2017, the Rooster year. will offer better prospects of meeting for you.
Work
It is the risky area of 2016. Tigers, if you are starting a company or new business, be cautious and, if possible, wait until next year. If you are an entrepreneur, expect surprises of all type: stockist who don’t deliver in time, clients that do not pay etc. Do not spend the money that you do not own and have a back up plan. The name of your business is also at stake, and so avoid marketing coup, risky associations and advertising campaigns, which have not been prepared in advance. You can still make money and even receive unexpected support, but it all depends of the karma that you create through your work really. Aim at doing more for people and the planet, as all the good deeds with for you ease the challenges of the year. If you are employed, keep a low profile all year long and avoid arguing: do your work without making waves. I’d even dare to say to dress discreetly at work and stay humble (quite a challenge for a Tiger!). If you are looing for work, you could find some if you are modest in your demands and show your willingness to be a team player. Going to job interviews during your best months will certainly help.
Wellbeing
Your wellbeing will be a bit of a roller coaster, due to the contrarian energies of the year for you. Stress is your number one enemy for this year. Respect your limits and aim at going to bed earlier, sleep more and spend less time in front of a screen. It might be challenging to implement as you could initially feel that computers and tablets are energising to you. But it is akin to drinking a black coffee on an empty stomach…Careful not to crash! The Monkey sign brings a tendency for Sex, drug and rock’n’roll en 2016, which is exactly what you should void. Don’t be too strict with yourself still as the year is hard on you. Respect your boundaries, eat well, sleep more and go for nature breaks often.. Tigers are often full of stamina and not fan of resting, but in 2016 you should not push it. It can actually be a good year to try things differently and to evolve spiritually: you could be out of your comfort zone but will also be able to drop some emotional luggage and be reborn, if you accept the challenge.
