Chinese horoscope 2016: the Monkey year’s forecast for the Rabbit. 3

The Yang Fire Monkey year started on the 4th of February for the solar calendar: the 8th of February is for the lunar start. It is therefore the right time to see what the year has in store for your sign of birth, based on the Chinese Zodiac. In this series of 12 articles I will explore with you the forecast and predictions that are based on your birth sign for your 2016 horoscope. This is different from analyzing your complete Bazi.

For the 12 Signs of Chinese astrology, it is a very different year from 2015 that was the Yin Wood Goat year. While 2015 was all about Earth and Wood Elements, 2016 is a clash between Fire, Metal and Water. These energies represent money opportunities for some and good prospect for single people of some signs. For others, it is all about professional changes and duties and not a very fun year. Let’s see what the situation is sign by sign.

The Rabbit

For people born under the Rabbit sign, the Monkey year is a bit odd and blows hot and cold (great if you are a fan of Katie Perry). On one hand, you will get support for some projects that you care about. Some of your personal initiatives will be rewarded…But you will also need to adapt. It is a year that does not allow for much daydreaming, like you love to: you will have some reality check and need to focus on your reality while still being flexible (something that you often do). You will be able to progress in your career if you compromise and only make your move when the timing is auspicious. The year is not unsupportive but invite you to be in action rather than procrastinate or dream. Here are your predictions.

Love

For love life, Rabbits have interesting prospects. You might have meet someone interesting in 2015 as the year helped you with friendship and meeting. If however you were in a difficult relationship, it might not have passed the year…In 2016 you have good chances of meeting. It is true for Rabbits of both genders. You need to push yourself and not be shy, as you could otherwise miss your chance with someone interesting. Don’t be afraid of the potential differences: if you have the same moral principles, the rest will not separate you both but rather help you to evolve. Rabbits can form surprising couples during the Monkey year, as you are attracted to your opposite. For those of you who are already seeing someone, there is a tendency to find harmony if you communicate clearly and softly about your opinion and feelings. You will also have to find the compromises that work for the both of you.

Work

Your career is an interesting domain for Rabbits this year. You could advance in your career and improve your finances if you grab the opportunities and push yourself. Volunteer to speak in public, go to fairs, network…It is a good year to increase your exposure and to communicate. It is also favourable for job interviews and for changes of work. Like the Rat sign, you can galvanise and also get some funding, or work very well as a team player in 2016. It is a year during which your long-term projects can unfold but you must work steadily and have a long-term vision.

Wellbeing

It is a domain a bit more up and down for men and women who are born under the Rabbit sign. You could feel a bit under the weather and not know what to do with your body: eat more or eat less, skip the gym or go like crazy…I’d say that for the Monkey year, you should not skip the gym! You can improve your wellbeing through physical activity, which helps you to channel all the movements happening for your sign. Dance, big walks and everything that makes you sweat and more at ease with your body is favourable. Dare to start sport if you haven’t yet. Be however mindful of your joins that needs support this year: don’t be harsh on yourself but rather gentle and you’ll go far.
