Let’s start with the 12 signs of the Chinese zodiac = your year of birth. Remember that likewise, it is only 1/4 of your chart: the year Pillar. A Four Pillar Bazi chart is made of a year, month, day and time Pillar, not the year only.

This month there is a rather harmonious Chi at work, with some Metal on top of an Earth sign, which is the Ox. As the Ox is both an Earth sign and contains Metal itself, having a Metal Stem (the energy on the top) is compatible.

• The Rats are having a rather good month. The strong Metal of the month helps you to gather information and to be “in the know”. It is especially useful in your career if you are a journalist, author etc. This is also a good month to review the “foundations” of your life. You can improve your family dynamics and also work on your home. In term of love life, it is good for women but a bit more challenging for men this month. The male Rat should remember to be humble and listen to their partner. Overall you could also be a bit confused on the direction to take in 2017; but now is not the time for great decisions.
• The Oxen are in pinch this month. The return of their sign means first that this month is a mirror. You are likely to analyze yourself and it is actually a good time to find out why you have some behaviors that you don’t like. People and situations will reflect harshly on you only if you have created negative karma…But do take this opportunity to learn on yourself and evolve. The Ox month also means that you are in a self-punishment formation. • The Rabbits have a mixed month. It is somehow a good influence for you to make money, and if you are a woman this month is also good for your career advancement. Both could be linked: for example you could get a pay rise with a new position this month…For men it’s a bit more tricky.
