Thank you for connecting with me and for taking the time to read my bio. You have questions, and I hope that this page will answer them. After all I am going to help you shape your life and future.

My role is to help you know and understand your full potential, master your personal timing and transform your environment for lasting success and happiness. Once you know your life blueprint and auspicious timing and create a nurturing space, you have a lot in your hands to succeed and find meaning in your life.

My methodology is based on the ancient wisdom of the Taoist 3 Lucks or 3 Realms working together. Heaven, Earth and Human working together. Your divine plan, your territory and your actions to transform your life positively and harmoniously.

  1. Because it matters. It is always exciting to help my clients blossom into their full potential and change their environment into one that leads to success and happiness.
  2. Because I love it. I am passionate about metaphysics and the world of invisible energy. My work is always different and deal with the spiritual realm!
  3. Because it is efficient. To this date, Feng Shui paired with Bazi is the best techniques that I have come across to induce powerful transformation according to our life blueprint

Helping you with metaphysics is a fantastic adventure. It all comes down to this: I believe that magic is real, and so should you! Magic is the power of invisible, unseen forces to shape our lives and influence what we call reality. In that sense, astrology, Feng Shui, oracles and date selections are indeed magical. And there is nothing more exciting than to use proper magic and see it at works!

If you want to know about my credentials: here is my official bio about my training in Chinese metaphysics.

Laurent Langlais is a Feng Shui master, consultant and expert based in London and Paris. He is accredited by the International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG). He is consulting in:

  • Feng Shui for home and business
  • Chinese astrology: Bazi/Four Pillar of destiny
  • Tarot

Date selection (Qi Men Dun Jia).

His Sifu in Asia is Master GK Ham, 72 Gen of the Han Wu Lineage汉五派 (Grandmaster Lau Kai Chi). This is the lineage that Laurent follows, which fully integrate the Bazi to the Feng Shui. He has previously studied with other teachers in Europe, Canada and Malaysia. He has also learned other methods on Bazi with Dr Jin Peh. Laurent Langlais is also trained in Tarot and Western numerology.

I guess you’re not reading this section to know that I am geek at heart, gay, or that I have superpowers that includes petting wild squirrels and overcooking rice? What you really want to know is how a Frenchman came to master authentic Feng Shui, Chinese astrology and oracles. And that is a very legitimate question. So let’s get to this.

I am not going to make things up: in all honesty I have been interested from a young age by “real magic”, the supernatural and by looking for meaning beyond what we can see. My mother had some of the same interests and took advanced classes in Tarot (the French “tarot de Marseilles”) and numerology with a great and famous teacher, Jean Daniel Fermier. She saw my intuition and interest for divination developing as a teenager. Quite logically she then taught me how to read tarot and practice numerology. The passion for Tarot had never left me since, and I have being using this oracle for 28 years now! It has become part of my professional services.

Fast track and after a life mostly spent in France and a burgeoning career as a computer artist, I then had a calling. A very literal one, as I woke up one day and KNEW that I had to leave my work, to travel the world. I was actually confident about this choice, considering that in my work I once spent 32 hours in front of a computer to meet a deadline and then went to sleep for 17 hours straight. It wasn’t the life I was dreaming of even if it was creative…And while I was making movie magic with special effects, I was looking for another form of magic still: real and practical.

I clearly remember being at my parents’ home one morning and to tell them that I would go on a world trip for a year. They didn’t take me seriously, but 6 months later I was indeed leaving. During this world trip that actually went on 20 months, I spent a lot of time in Asia: India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. This is where I felt a real awakening. My interest for Buddhism became much more practical when I was hosted by a Tibetan family living in Kathmandu. What stroke me in Asia was the architecture. Architecture has, honestly, being another passion of mine early on and still is. In Asia I discovered a more sacred architecture that was answering to not only to practicality but also to beliefs on energy. The biggest Buddhist temple in Indonesia, Borobudur, is for example modelled on a “3D” mandala and the energy felt when I visited was very real. More practically, I saw many places with an inner courtyard to let the Qi flow in Singapore and Malaysia. I also saw shops with tilted doors and wondered why… The pieces finally all came together when visiting the famous Blue house, Cheong Fatt Tze mansion in Penang. Here I heard the name of this practice over and over: Feng Shui.

The irony is that it was not the first time I was hearing about such practice. A few years back my big brother offered me a book on Feng Shui, thinking that I would like this practice at the crossroad between architecture and metaphysics. He was right and I was hooked…

Once this world trip was over, I felt at a crossroad. Travelling changes you, always…especially when you travel for almost 2 years! I didn’t feel like going back to my former work and its hectic pace; and yet I had to find another career that I felt connected with. I figured out that calling a Feng Shui consultant in would unlock things for me…and it totally did. While she was not using classical Feng Shui, I saw many aspects in her work that I loved. That was truly another step in my spiritual journey…And today I think all the people I have met who have put me on such path. That was the second step in this fantastic journey to become a Feng Shui expert and astrologer.

The third step, shortly after that consulation, was the epiphany that becoming a Feng Shui “master” was what I also wanted to do with my life. I then first learned “westernized” and new age Feng Shui in Paris, then Montreal. That was not without merit: there was some psychology in it and a first relation connected to the environment. However I remained sceptical, feeling that there was much more to Feng Shui than clearing the clutter or the 8 mansions techniques. Especially looking at what had been done with it in the Forbidden city in China for example, or in the Hong Kong city center…

Fast forward to one of the most significant event on my path. I was back at my parents home when I saw online an academy of classical Feng shui in Malaysia. It is a country where I wanted to go back since my world trip, as I had a sense of déjà vu over there. However this academy was REALLY expensive. I then asked the Universe and my guides to send me a sign and tell me if my path was to go there and spend all my savings (at the time) on such teaching. And in the next 5 minutes, my father called me to tell me about a documentary on Malaysia on TV! I had my answer, loud and clear. Few messages had been that clear in my life, but that one was for sure.

And so, step four. I went back and once there Kuala Lumpur, “just by luck”, I got a job in a French school so I could live and learn in Kuala Lumpur. I then learned from the Yap Cheng Hai academy, but eventually didn’t like the way the academy passed on the knowledge. Luckily, I then found through spiritual connection my Sifu: Master GK Ham. He took me in to learn classical Feng Shui, Bazi, Qi Men Dun Jia, Da Liu Ren and more. The way the Han Wu lineage connect Bazi and Feng Shui finally made total sense. That’s how I became a Feng Shui consultant and astrologer in Bazi.

The rest, as they say, is history. I then started to give my first consultation in 2006 in New Zealand, where I lived after Malaysia. I kept living in different countries and started giving Chinese astrology/Bazi and Feng Shui consultations. The word of mouth snowballed and there was no turning back once I moved to London and built a clientele over there.

And here we are today: as a Feng Shui and Bazi expert, I have given Feng Shui home consultations, Feng Shui business consultations and Bazi analysis professionally since 2006. I have to this date given Feng Shui consultations in: the UK, France, Canada, the US, New Zealand, Belgium, Hungary, Spain, Germany and Switzerland; and Bazi consultations to people from all around the world. I have been featured on the BBC radio The Why factor in 2014 and Yahoo Experts UK in 2019 and I have written columns and articles for The Paper, DimSum, PrideLife, Popsguar, Mother.ly and Kindred Spirits among others. Finally I have also being one of the main speaker at the UK Tarot conference in 2011, and part of the book The Tarot masters: insights from the world’s leading Tarot experts.
