Ok! So now, in term of our wellbeing, what does it look like? Well, we are in autumn season, when the Metal should be strong, and close to the Water season of the winter. In both cases, seeing so much Fire is not ideal. It can affect the lungs or the brain, both Metal organs, and dry up the kidneys and urinary tract, which are both water related. Therefore, we need to convert some of this Fire into a gentle, productive Earth that will feed the Metal of the season and add a bit of moisture. The licorice herb is well adapted to doing this work, and any food that is full of moisture but warmth and earthy – such as stews made of vegetable roots are ideal. Dairy can be good, but not cold ones. Go for raw milk gently heated with a bit of honey for example. Lay low on most heating spices for now, as the month is already too dry: ginger and turmeric that are usually good all year round would be too heating and drying right now. Same logic for the sauna or too much heat – go gentle with those habits for the Dog month.

Finally, here are the predictions for your Bazi and Chinese signs. Yes, it took us 14 pages to get there, but you see good things happen to people who know how to wait and don’t fall asleep reading my ramblings. - The weak Wood Bazi are having a tough time, as they are used by all the Fire and don’t benefit much from the dry Earth. You could be spread thin this month, so pace yourself and don’t do more than your share;
- The strong Wood Bazi are to the contrary in a good position to shine and make money. It can be a good time for presentations, networking and salary discussions. Romance can be good for males;
- The weak Fire Bazi are feeling good this month and receive unexpected supports. It is a good time for networking. You can be very productive, but don’t overdo still. Romance can be good for males;
- The strong Fire Bazi feel stressed and are under pressure. Still, if you can focus your efforts, you can achieve a lot and progress in your personal life too;
- The weak Earth Bazi should be very successful this month, getting support and attention. It is a great Chi for networking and new friendships, less for romance and money making;
- The strong Earth Bazi are also very stressed this month and must lay low. A burnout is possible and you have to rest this month and avoid arguments;
- The Weak Metal Bazi can benefit from the month, but they have to be humble and willing to let their ego on the side. Your karma and attitude will determine the good outcome this month, so focus on helping others too. Romance can be good for female;
- The strong Metal Bazi can shine this month, even if they feel under pressure. There is electricity and a bit of fight in the air, but if you have a real battle plan you can achieve a lot.
- The weak Water Bazi are really not liking this month. They feel pressures, potentially used, and are not in control. Lay low, avoid arguments and wait for a better time. Still, romance can be good for females;
- The strong Water Bazi are in a better position and can make money and shine. It all depends of what you have done in the previous month, but this year has been tough for you Water people so rise to the occasion. Romance should be good for males.
Now, for the sign of your year of birth. Remember that likewise, it is only 1/4 of your chart: the year Pillar. A Four Pillar Bazi chart is made of a year, month, day and time Pillar, not the year only.
- The Rats should keep a low profile and wait for their season. It is not yet your time, but for male Rats, the love life should be good;
- The Oxen are in a self-punishment formation and should double check everything they do and be on the cautious side; read the small lines and don’t commit too fast, as people are trying to control you;
- The Tigers are doing well and can see useful associations and new friendship coming their way, if you are open to it and go for networking;
- The Rabbits are having a better time than last month. You can actually benefit from this month Rabbit, and it is a good time to express your ideas. New friendships or romance can happen during this Dog month;
- The Dragons must lay low, as the Dog is their direct opposition. You could shoot yourself in the foot this month Dragons; so be nice with everyone, stop being calculating, and mind your words, action and karma everyday;
- The Snake feel a bit uneasy. Some people are on your back, and you have to handle potential hassles and nitpickers. Lay low and be very organized to get through the month, Snakes;
- The Horse has an affinity with the Dog, like the Tiger, and also with the Goat year. This month can be your time to shine Horses, and you could achieve a lot. Be on the lookout for new friendships, romance and partnerships;
- The Goat is in a double self-punishment with the Goat year, and the Dog month. Be very cautious this month, Goats (or Sheep, or Rams!). Mind your words, avoid signing contracts if possible, ask for time before committing and be focused on everything you do;
- The Monkeys are not seeing a lot of opportunities coming their way and it’s a rather neutral month for them. It is what you make of it, but don’t chew more than you can bite, as there is little support in store for you;
- The Roosters are in a better situation than last month and can make new friends. It’s good for networking, but bosses and partners could be on your back still. Don’t argue Roosters, or it will bite your feathers;
- The Dogs are in a self-punishment with the month and so the same logic applies, like Oxen and Goats you better be cautious, focus, and clear with your intentions. You could easily be misunderstood this month, Dogs;
- The Pig can be argumentative and all over the place. Focus your thoughts, be organized, and you could make money Pigs. Romance should be good for males.
As you can see, a lot can be said and predicted from just a Stem and Branch of the month and its interaction with the current year.
